Game developer Rare announced their latest game news in October 2021 regarding Sea of Thieves coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC in early 2021, and is currently in the final stages of development. There are many new features included. One of them is Sea of Thieves’ non-verbal communication feature. The feature was revealed in a Rare video.
Sea of Thieves Komunikasi Communication Features Review
Although not perfect, the ability of Sea of Thieves’ non-verbal communication features is certainly ready to be used in the future. The point of Sea of Thieves’ non-verbal communication feature is to make players who are lazy to use or don’t have a microphone as a communication tool.
You can use this communication tool effectively when they enter the sea in search of buried gold, uncharted land, and/or unexpected encounters with other crew members. Sea of Thieves’ non-verbal communication features are also supported with automatic translation into multiple languages.
In a video released by Rare about Sea of Thieves’ non-verbal communication features, Community Video Manager Jon McFarlane is seen walking behind the scenes in one of Rare’s development warehouses to sit down with Senior Designer Andrew Preston to explain a demo of this evolving system.
This Sea of Thieves non-verbal communication feature and many other additions will soon be available to players in Sea of Thieves Technical Alpha. Prospective players must enter the Insider Program (free entry) in order to get a chance to play the Alpha technical session ahead of the early 2021 launch.
About Sea of Thieves and Its Development
Sea of Thieves is an adventure game in a sea world filled with thieves. It’s a multiplayer focused game, and the game developer’s ambition is to let players be the kind of pirate they want to be.
Whether you want to hunt for legendary treasure, sail to the farthest island or hunt down a rival crew, the developer’s ambition is to build a game that will allow you, as a player, to pursue the adventure your heart desires.
Sea of Thieves will be released in early 2021. Currently the developer’s focus is on testing the game with real players in the ongoing Alpha technical session. Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer game like no other. The developer’s focus is on bringing players together for a fun, positive and collaborative crew experience.
In the current Technical Alpha session, the developer demonstrates crew building. However, in an interview with IGN, Gregg Mayles did say that the “crew limit” had not been determined by the team.
In Sea of Thieves, players must obtain a map to be able to go on a treasure quest. Keep your crew alive, make them aggressive with guns, blunderbuss and cutlass. You have to dodge sharks while exploring sunken shipwrecks. Drinking, playing games within those games, and firing cannons are just some of the gameplay features that the developer has demonstrated so far, with more to be revealed.
Customization is something that will be worked on in the pirate games Sea of Thieves. Split-screen will not be supported. However, cooperative social play is at the heart of Sea of Thieves. Sea of Thieves won’t be free to play, but more information on pricing and launch plans will be shared in the future.
The game is currently in the Technical Alpha phase which is still under the NDA, so the developer isn’t ready to offer access to public coverage yet. At a later date, an NDA will be appointed to allow this coverage. To compensate, currently all invitations to play in Technical Alpha sessions have been issued to the percentage of players who signed up for the Insider Program.
Joining the Insider developer Program will alert you to exclusive email updates, give you access to the Insider Forum and add you to the pool of potential players for Alpha technical sessions. But not guaranteed a place because not everyone will be included in the technical Alpha session. If you are selected to take part, you will receive an email explaining how and where to download the games.
