Samurai Warrior 5 Will Come With Cel-Shaded Visual

Techmo-Koei as the developer gave a surprise, after the previous month releasing Nioh-2. Tecmo-Koei will now take us back to the luxurious Sengoku era through the game Samurai Warriors 5.

The game, which is planned for release in the summer of 2021, is a Dynasty Warriors spin-off series and seems to be starting in a different way.

This can be seen from the trailer which shows the new look of two iconic characters, namely “The Devil” Nobunaga Oda, and Mitsuhide Akechi, who now appear fresher than the previous series.

Besides that, Samurai Warriors 5 has an amazing visual aspect and feels more towards “cartoon-ish” (Cel Shading). when compared to the previous series, the graphics are not much different from Dynasty Warriors.

If we look back at the trailer for Samurai Warriors 5, it looks like the game’s story will focus after the Onin war (the fall of the Ashikaga shogunate, and the start of Nobunaga’s rise). No wonder there will be characters like Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Oichi, and other characters from the previous series.

Until this article was published there has been no information regarding Samurai Warrior 5, but Tecmo-Koei will provide a special Livestream to reveal more details on February 25, 2021.
