PUBG Introduces New Snow and Ballistic Shield Theme Map at E3 2021

2021 has been a busy year for PUBG to maintain its popularity as one of the most popular Battle Royale games, and fans will be excited to hear this latest news. At the E3 2021 event this morning during the Microsoft press conference, BlueHole did not want to lose by providing information at once for its flagship game, PUBG, by introducing their fourth snow-themed map and planned to be present this winter, then introducing Ballistic Shield as in the game. Rainbox Six, release date information for the Sanhok PC map will be released June 22, 2021 while the Xbox is summer.

We will discuss in more detail first starting from this latest fourth map. This is the first time to innovate so fast in 1 year they introduce 2 maps at once this Sanhok and Snow theme. Through PUBG’s official twitter account, they teased with a gif in the snow and then showed a scene of someone following in someone else’s footsteps. This map has not yet been named.

In a new post PUBG on Steam Community says:

“Snow Map is currently in its early stages of development, and we aim to bring it to PC and Xbox One this winter. Expect to see some new mechanics built around the snowy terrain.

Continue to discuss PUBG’s newest Ballistic Shield item. in PUBG’s latest post on Steam Community also gave details about this new item. This is one of the striking updates, the Ballistic Shield item that will give you protection when in exposed areas and cool can be used in conjunction with pistols, SMGS, melee weapons, and throwing grenades.

Shields will take the main weapon slot, this item will be very strong in squad battles. This item is similar to the Tactical Shield in the Rainbox Six game. Ballistic Shield will first be introduced in War Mode for PC and Xbox later this year. Check out the 1.5 minute video below which shows the gameplay of the item.
