If we talk about brands like HP Pavilion X360, it seems that the picture that cannot be separated from it is directly related to how a mid-range laptop gives a crisp feel when used to enjoy movies or music in the room.

There are many choices that can be added to the shopping list if the HP Pavilion X360 becomes a device that is believed to be devoutly, especially if you are someone who understands very well how much money you have to spend to buy a laptop. However, in the list of the Pavilion X30 series, our attention is focused on the HP Pavilion x360 ba006tx which is sold for approximately 14 million.

Among the Pavilion X360 series, HP does provide the option of a seventh generation Intel Core processor, complete with other additional variations such as the NVidia GeForce 940MX graphics card. Well, what we want to talk about here is a laptop version that uses a seventh generation Intel Core i7 processor.

Design and Screen

We’re talking about laptops again convertible, and this one device is designed in such a way that users can enjoy the crispness of a high-contrast IPS screen, a fast SSD, and various other options. The drawback may be that the selling price is quite high, although you can choose another option that uses an Intel Core i3 of the same generation and without an additional graphics card.

Most of the material used in the Pavilion X30 ba006tx is plastic, and only the cover is made of light metal. We prefer the Ba006tx for its silver color, which in many ways beats the jet black elegy that its brother ba005tx offers – this is just a matter of taste, of course you can still choose the black laptop option.

The quality of the laptop product itself is very good, sturdy, even though it looks stiff at the same time. The visual appearance makes this laptop less flexible than the Acer Spin 5, for example. But beyond our assumptions, the Pavilion X30 ba006tx is still a device convertible, which means it can be folded and turned into a tablet when needed.

The keyboard looks attractive and clean, and most importantly: comfortable to use and feels soft when used to type something. The backlight feature is available above the keyboard, although we recommend turning it off in normal light conditions.

Multi-touch features on the screen are becoming commonplace, considering these devices are typical convertible. After all, can you imagine a convertible laptop without a touch screen feature on it? The high contrast ratio, of 1200:1, has become a mainstay weapon that pleases many people.

Even so, we have to admit the shortcomings that appear in one thing: the maximum brightness level of the screen which only reaches 237 nits – quite low in its class. For a laptop worth 14 million, it’s certainly not wrong if we hope to get a laptop screen with a brightness level of at least 300 nits.

Overall Performance

Talking about performance, Pavilion X30 ba006tx is very good when used to run office applications, as well as meet the demands of applications related to the internet. The combination of a FHD screen plus a GeForce 940MX with 4GB of RAM feels quite adequate to run mid-range games.

Long story short, in everyday use scenarios – whether for watching 1080p movies or doing mid-range design work, the Pavilion X30 ba006tx provides its own satisfaction. It may be true that from it you can’t expect an excess of premium taste, but clearly this one device is very sufficient for regular use.
