Playstation Classic Brief Review and 20 List of Games Presented

GridGames.ID – Some time ago, Sony announced that they would be releasing their first iconic PlayStation console, dubbed the PlayStation Classic.

Just like the NES and SNES Classic consoles from Nintendo, this console, which is priced at $99.99 or around Rp. 1.5 million, has 20 games filled in it.

Unlike the original version, the PlayStation Classic is 45% smaller than the original. The color remains gray with all the buttons the same. However, not everything works the same, the disc holder cannot be opened, and the reset button now functions as the console’s home button.

Reporting from The Verge page, there are two controllers with a 59.1-inch cable connected to the console. Unfortunately, there’s no home button or way to exit the game from the controller. So, every time you want to change games, you have to get up from your seat and physically press the reset button on the PlayStation Classic.

Aside from the two controllers and a console, the only other things in the box are an HDMI cable and a USB cable for power. Surprisingly, there is no USB adapter included. So you have to buy it yourself.

The most important part is the controller. For the PlayStation Classic, Sony decided to use the original gamepad that launched with the console instead of the DualShock which was introduced later. That means no double sticks and no vibration.

There are a few things that differ from the PlayStation Classic such as the lack of a wireless controller and a home button that may confuse some.
