Officially Announced, Crysis Remastered Trilogy Releases Fall 2021

Crytek just announced that the Crysis 1, 2, and 3 remasters will be bundled together as the Crysis Remastered Trilogy and as a standalone purchase in Fall 2021.

Reporting from the Crytek page, that Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be released for consoles and PC this fall. The Crysis Remastered trilogy features single-player remasters of Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3, optimized in collaboration with Saber Interactive for today’s console and PC hardware.

The three-game bundle will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and games played on next-gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be smoother. Meanwhile, Remasters of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will also be available separately.

Crysis Remastered was originally announced in April 2021 and is scheduled for release in July. However, leaks related to previous gameplay showed that the game’s visuals were not satisfactory, so the release of Crysis Remastered was again postponed.

In addition to a number of visual enhancements, Crysis 1 also includes high-quality textures up to 8K, HDR support, temporal anti-aliasing, Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO), Global Illumination (SVOGI), state-of-the-art depth fields, new light settings. , Screen Space Reflection and Shadowing (SSR & SSS), new particle effects, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, and more.

Interestingly, Crysis Remastered also supports ray tracing on PCs that use Nvidia RTX VGA, Xbox One X, and PS4 Pro.

New York City has been turned into a vast rainforest protected by a giant nanodome. The Prophet must fight his way through seven different districts against human and alien armies.
