New Dota 2 Hero Introduced At The International 2021: Snapfire

One of the traditions that often exists at The International is the introduction of new heroes. Last year we had Grimstroke and also Mars. In 2021, we were also introduced to a new hero, Snapfire, which will be released this fall.

From trailers shown, Snapfire is a grandmother with race keenfolk, the dwarves who are well versed with machines like Sniper and Clockwerk. He also has a red salamander-shaped mount equipped with a firearm.

It is difficult to determine what the role of this hero will be. But he seems to have spell which gives buff to other heroes by giving cookies. With his firearm, he can take out barrage to one target. Then most importantly, the salamander he rides can emit hot lava balls.

Of course, this is speculation from trailers and does not show the potential of this hero. We’ll see when this hero releases next fall, or more or less in the range of September to November 2021.
