MUI Asked Not to Hastily Issue Fatwa Haram PUBG

Telset.id, Jakarta – The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) plans to issue PUBG haram fatwa, games the most popular today. Regarding this plan, MUI asked not to hastily issue a fatwa, and should coordinate with the Ministry of Communications and Informatics and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI).

This was stated by the Executive Director of the Indonesia ICT Institute, Heri Sutadi. According to him, there is a need for a joint study of several relevant ministries and agencies.

According to Heru, MUI needs to evaluate PUBG first. This is to produce policies that are in accordance with the current conditions of society.

“It must be evaluated together. If it is considered harmless and in accordance with the age classification, then you can go ahead. But if it is dangerous, then its circulation is prohibited,” he said.

In addition, he also asked Kominfo and KPAI to evaluate the games made by Tencent. Because if it is games This has a bad impact on the community, so don’t hesitate to block it.
