Mobile Legends Official Twitter Tweets Insults
MOBA Mobile Legends games are often problematic. There are cases of plagiarism, employee exploitation, and customer exploitation. Not only that, the comments of people who are said to be former employees on Reddit also add to the bad image of Mobile Legends. It’s just that all of that, doesn’t make the players move to move to another heart, especially Indonesian gamers. However, recently, a tweet from Mobile Legends made many Indonesian players nervous because the official Mobile Legends Twitter tweeted insults, one of which was against Indonesian gamers, in addition to AoV and other Mobile Legends gamers.
Insult to Indonesian Gamers, ML and AoV
The incident on the official Mobile Legends Twitter account that tweeted insults occurred on March 6, 2021. The incident was only for a short time, and then it was deleted. However, the image of the tweet was saved by Lambe Wibu’s Facebook account.
Mobile Legends tweeted insults to Indonesian gamers in one of a series of three insulting tweets. There is also the first tweet related to plagiarism against League of Legends games. The point of the tweet is that Mobile Legends gamers must stop asking for support and stop disturbing developers by sending messages because there will be no support. Because the Mobile Legends game imitates League of Legends.
The second tweet contains insults to Indonesian gamers. Tweets say they don’t care about Indonesian gamers, but thank them for easy money coming from them. Actually, they only care about the American market.
The third tweet contains insults to the game developer Arena of Valor. The tweet says that the Arena of Valor games do have cool graphics and gameplay on top of Mobile Legends, but they don’t have customers who don’t have a good taste in playing games.
There is no visible clarification from Moonton’s representatives for this matter. However, based on the conversation of Mobile Legends gamers who are also members of the Lambe Wibu fanspage, they said that there was already a statement from Moonton who said that the tweet was not from the admin of the official Mobile Legends Twitter, but a hacker.
Even though someone has said so, but because there is no real evidence in the form of photos or even many Mobile Legends gamers who responded to the tweet, it was genuine from Moonton’s side and became frustrated because of it. The former players are grateful that they are no longer playing these mobile games, while those who are still playing are planning to retire because of this incident.
Regarding the tweet issued by the official Twitter social media account from Mobile Legends, this is actually indeed odd and it is very possible to be hacked by parties who don’t like this mobile game. In addition, what is stated in his tweet is eleven twelve with some negative rumors growing, especially the first and second tweets.
Regarding the plagiarism rumors of League of Legends every year, Mobile Legends is always linked. But it has never been proven true. The most recent, is the story of a former Moonton employee on Reddit. Now, the comments on Reddit don’t just talk about League of Legends plagiarism, but also talk about Southeast Asian gamers who are just cash cows.
It’s a shame that something like this happened. Hopefully, it’s true that the insulting tweet was the work of irresponsible hackers. If not, then Moonton’s party can be said to have a mental disorder because they are happy with the negative news that befell them, thus provoking them to be reported negatively.
