How to Use AppImage Linux

Note that AppImage files have the extension .appImage.
Once downloaded, the application cannot be used immediately.
The AppImage file must first be granted executable permissions.

Right-click the downloaded .AppImage file, then select properties
- On the Permissions tab, check Is executable
- Click OK
- Double click the application to run it.

How to remove AppImage app from linux system
There is no particular way, just delete the .appImage file from your hard disk. Finished. It’s easy isn’t it?
Disadvantages of using AppImage
We can’t always get the latest version of the application we want to use.
It depends on the developer of the application, whether he has released the AppImage version or not.
If not, then you can only use the available version of the application.
If you want to use the latest version of the app, then try searching through Flatpak or Synaptic, or some other method.
Pros of using AppImage
What I feel is that this method is very easy for beginners. There is no command to type the code at all.
We just download, give permission, then run the application.
Using AppImage, is the same as using portable applications on windows. Exactly, there is no installation flow done, just run it.
All application caches will be stored in the system, even though they are closed but when they are opened they will run normally according to our last setting conditions.
