How to Play PUBG on PC with High FPS, Nvidia Provides Important Tips

The currently wildly popular game Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (commonly known as PUBG) will officially launch on December 20 on PC, but Nvidia jumped ahead and did its own internal performance testing of the game. Based on pre-release trials that are said to be optimized, Nvidia ran hundreds of benchmarks on both maps to get framerate data with the goal of getting an average of 60 FPS. Below is how to play pubg on pc with high fps.

At a resolution of 1920×1080 (1080p) and a graphics quality setting of “High”, the GeForce GTX 1060 is recommended. Nvidia claims to hit an average of 70 FPS while never dropping below 60 FPS. If players want to play on the “Ultra” quality setting at 1080p, the GTX 1070 is recommended.

For players looking to try resolutions up to 2560×1440 (1440p) with “High” quality, Nvidia suggests a GTX 1070, scoring an average of 72 FPS and a minimum of 61 FPS. Pushing the “Ultra” setting at 1440p requires the GTX 1080 to stay above 60 FPS. And ambitious folks looking to run 3840×2160 (4K) settings and “High” quality, the GTX 1080 Ti is said to do the trick; high-end video cards produce an average of 60 FPS. The “Ultra” 4K quality is pretty good, but the factory overclocked GTX 1080 Ti is best suited for the task.

All benchmark tests from Nvidia were performed on systems equipped with an Intel Core i7-6700K CPU, 16GB DDR4-2133 RAM, and a 64-bit Windows 10 operating system.

PUBG is constantly evolving, and has already sold over 20 million copies on PC during its early access phase. With jumps, new weapons and new maps included in the final version, players get more features on top of performance optimization. The Xbox One version entered the early access phase earlier this month. However, the technical performance is unstable for early console versions.
