How to Disable Avast in Windows 7, 8 and 10 (Full+Picture)

Avast? Yup, this antivirus may be familiar to our ears, because many people use this application as a security guard or as a protector on a PC or smartphone. For additional information, Avast is an antivirus company developed in Prague, Czech Republic by Alwil Software.

1. First step

Click the Avast icon in the Task Bar at the bottom right of your PC screen or click the arrow if you don’t find it. As in the image below.

Then right click on the avast icon, then click Avast Protection Controls . Then select and click an option depending on how long you want to disable Avast antivirus.

After you choose how long to disable avast, Avast antivirus will pop up a window to confirm whether you really want to turn off Avast Antivirus. choose Yes. After that, all Avast Antivirus protection will be disabled.

2 Second Way

Open Avast Antivirus on your PC. Then click Menu (Gear icon in the upper right corner), Then click Settings > Components.

After that, choose which protection you want to activate by clicking the green icon on the protection. Several options will appear to determine how long you want to turn off the Avast antivirus, i.e. 10 minutes, 1 hour or permanently.

After you choose how long to disable avast, Avast antivirus will pop up a window to confirm whether you really want to turn off Avast Antivirus. choose Yes. After that, all Avast Antivirus protection will be disabled.
