The GESC Indonesia Tournament will start on March 15. Eight teams Dota 2 from all over the world will compete in Indonesia for the prize pool US$300,000 (approximately Rp4.1 billion) and 300 Dota 2 Pro Circuit points.

This tournament itself has two phases, namely the group phase and also the playoffs. In the group phase, eight teams will be divided into two groups and compete in a GSL format. Opening match and scramble match runner-up the group will be played with the format best of one. While the rest are played with the format best of three.

Results in this group stage are for seeding for playoffs. In other words, the team that ranks last in the group will not immediately drop out of the tournament, but will have to go through a tougher path in playoffs.
