ESL One Katowice 2021 Qualifiers: OG, Complexity and Fnatic Head to Poland
The series of qualifications for ESL One Katowice was finally completed last weekend. Seven teams from six separate regions will leave for Poland at the end of February. Together with the 11 teams that have received direct invitations, they will compete against each other for the fight prize pool US$1 million (approximately Rp13 billion) and 1500 Dota 2 Pro Circuit points.
Since Team Secret and Team Liquid became invitees to major tournaments, European qualifiers have become much easier for OG. Moreover, specifically for this tournament the European qualifiers took two representatives. Because they don’t have a tough opponent, OG can take one of the two tickets. The only opponent that might be tough is Team Kinguin. But this Polish team is in bracket separate and take a second ticket.

Similar conditions also occur in the CIS region. With the invitation of Virtus.Pro and Na’Vi, the competition in this region has become lighter. The difference is, the strength of the competing teams is relatively balanced. The proof is that Team Effect, which had never previously passed the qualification, turned out to be the winner.
The North American and Chinese qualifiers are two pretty tight regions. North America has four strong teams, namely OpTic, Immortals, Complexity, and VGJ.Storm. In addition, several other teams such as Blue Pikachu, CES, and Animal Planet are also tough opponents. However, it was Complexity who came out as the qualifying champion in this region.
IT IS ALL OVER! #coLDota keeps their Texas winning streak alive and clinches the spot at #ESLOne Katowice!

While in China there are LFY, LGD, IG, VGJ.Thunder, and EHOME. In addition, there was also Keen Gaming who had competed at ESL One Hamburg 2021. This final qualifying round brought LGD to LFY and was won by LGD Gaming with a score of 3-0.
BOOM.ID and PG.Barracx as representatives of Indonesia competed in the Southeast Asian qualifiers. Unfortunately, PG.Barracx had to fall in the first round, while BOOM.ID fell in the second round. This Southeast Asian qualifier was won by Fnatic after a fierce final round against TNC.
WE DID IT! It’s time for a lie down after that one. GG, @TNCProTeam.
