Dota 2 – Preview StarLadder iLeague Invitational

Star Ladder and iLeague back with a Dota 2 tournament featuring the best teams from around the world. Starladder iLeague Invitational is a smaller tournament than StarSeries but still prestigious with a total prize pool of $100,000 or around 6.6 billion Rupiah. This tournament features 8 of the best teams from around the world. The Starladder iLeague Invitational was held from April 14 to April 17 2021. And the venue returned to Kiev Cybersport Arena, home of StarLadder

The team that will be invited directly to compete is Alliance from Sweden, Vici Gaming from China, LGD Gamimg from China, MVP Phoenix from Korea, Na`Vi from CIS, and OG from different countries Europe. However due to internal problems Vici Gaming resigns the end replaced by Virtus.Pro from CIS. Meanwhile, from the European regional qualifications there are Vega Squadron who managed to be the best of 12 European qualifying teams. And the last Vici Gaming Reborn from China who managed to win H-Cup which is held iLeague Imba TV at the beginning of last April.

The venue used is Kiev CyberSports Arena which is located in the city Kiev, Ukraine. Kiev CyberSports Arena is the home of Star Ladder in the past and has repeatedly held various eSports Tournaments ranging from Dota 2, CSGO, Point Blank, World of Tanks, and others.

This tournament itself uses the format Double Elimination which means all teams have 2 chances in the Tournament. If the team loses, then they must go down to the Lower Bracket and fight for the continuity of their tournament until the Final round. Winner Starladder iLeague Invitational will get a prize of $46,000 for First Place.
