Specification

Design
As a convertible laptop, the XPS 15 uses a hinge that can be bent up to 360 degrees. So you can position it in all four usage modes. Laptop mode, tent mode, reverse mode, and tablet mode. This hinge is made of aluminum which is strong enough, so it is quite safe when bent many times. The laptop body also uses aluminum construction. But for the part for the palmrest, Dell uses a tough carbon fiber that not only looks unique but also makes it lighter and remains strong.

This laptop comes with a weight of 2 kilos which is actually included in the laptop category in general, but its thickness is only 9 mm when opened and 16 mm when closed, making this laptop seem thin and light. This laptop has a length of 354 mm and a width of 235 mm.

Screen
The screen design is one of the attractions that makes this laptop even cooler. The screen carries the Infinity Edge concept, which means Dell makes the bezels on the left, top, and right sides, with a thin size. This makes the screen size can be maximized to 15.6 inches but the body is still not too big. Because it is a touch screen, the screen is made with a stronger material. With an IPS panel, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The screen is responsive enough to accept the touch of a finger or a stylus.

Webcam
The impact of the thin bezels, Dell places the webcam on the bottom side of the screen. This position is not as comfortable as when it is above the screen, but we actually feel a different sensation when used for video calls. The image quality of the webcam is also fairly good with HD resolution. This webcam supports Windows Hello and is designed to work even in low light conditions.
