It may be true that babies shouldn’t be holding expensive smartphones or tablets. They are very likely to damage the items. But actually games on Android & iOS devices can be small windows to see the world that can entertain toddlers for hours, and can even help educate your baby.
Previously, Kabar Games informed us about the recommendations for the best children’s educational games. The following is a list of recommendations for the best toddler games on Android and iOS smartphones for babies aged 6 months to 2 and 3 years.
First Words for Baby
Androbaby is a game developer on Google Play. They have released several games for toddlers. Some of their games are great for little ones. Some of the games include First Words for Baby, Kids Farm Game, Baby Flashcards, Animal Sounds, and Learning Colors for Babies.
Androbaby also has a large selection of games for parents like 2048. Most of the games from this developer are free but with ads in them. You can usually remove ads for a certain price.
Baby Xylophone
App Quiz is another developer on Google Play. They also have a good number of games for toddlers. Some of the games include Baby Puzzles, Baby Musical Instruments, Baby Balloons, Toddler and Baby Games, Car Wash for Kids, and several others. The games are simple, colorful and noisy which is perfect for babies.
These games are basically just real toddler toys version of games on android or iOs. Every game is free to download. There are ads if you stick with the free version and as usual, the paid version can remove ads.
Fisher Price
Fisher-Price is well known in the world of children’s entertainment. They make a lot of toys that you may have seen before. They also have lots of games on Android and iOS for toddlers and babies. There are games that have nursery rhymes, hide and seek, counting, and sound games. Most of their games range from free to $2.99. That makes them easily accessible, even for people on a tight budget.
FooFoo Kids
Their FooFoo Kids has lots of very simple games like popping balloons and a coloring novel app that shouldn’t be difficult for toddlers to play. All FooFoo Kids apps are free. Some of their games have in-app purchases (in-app purchases), but we didn’t find any that cost more than $0.99. This is an excellent option for the best baby games from 6 months to 2 and 3 years.
GoKids
GoKids is another developer that puts out a lot of games for babies, but most of them are not educational. But you can also find some educational games lol. Their biggest games include Animal Farm, Baby Zoo Piano, Learning Shapes, and Ocean Bubbles Pop. Most of the games here are free with ads.
You can usually pay to remove those ads. Don’t forget that some games are made for older toddlers, in case you find the games too difficult for babies.
GunjanApps Studios

GunjanApps Studios does not release as many games as other studios. Some of their well-known games include Balloon Pop, Kids Preschool Learning, Alphabet for Kids, Kids Shapes, and Baby First Words. Some of those games work fine. Some others sometimes experience bugs which can affect the gaming experience. We recommend checking user reviews to see what’s good and what’s not.
KidloLand
KidloLand is one of the best games for toddlers on Android smartphones currently available. This game offers more than 300 mini-games, interactive videos, songs for babies and children, stories and much more. Most games can be downloaded for use offline.
Also, none of the versions of this app have ads. However, there are many different ways to pay. You can purchase items as individual in-app purchases. There is also a subscription service that gives you all access.
This app is pretty good and has a lot to do. Granted, the subscription price doesn’t seem appealing. I’m sure a lot of people will object. However, this one game has a lot more to offer than any other developer, so it’s okay to have a look first, maybe there’s something you’re interested in.
Kids Doodle
Kids Doodle isn’t really a game technically. This is the best kids drawing app there is. Kids Doodle features a drawing room like most. However, this one has a black background with a neon tint. Kids Doodle games provide a fun and colorful experience for most toddlers to enjoy.
There is also a white background if you wish. It comes with multiple colors, 24 brushes, and more. There is also a movie mode where you can record pictures of your baby and then play them back. Exciting ‘right? It’s also completely free.
Lively Mind
Lively Mind is another developer on Google Play that has around six games currently. They make games such as singing songs, simple puzzles, rhymes, music, and some common things like animal sounds, fireworks, exploding balloons, and many more that are especially for toddlers.
The games are relatively simple and most babies should have no problem with them. The app also works fine without much problem. Unfortunately, the free version has ads. However, the premium version is inexpensive and can remove ads.
Outfit7
Outfit7 is one of the most popular developers on Google Play. Some of the most popular games in their world include My Talking Tom, My Talking Angela, and many others. Each game is slightly different from the previous one. Their latest title, My Talking Hank, is actually a simulation where you take care of a puppy named Hank.
All of these games are adorable, and maybe too much for some babies. However, these games are free to download. Make sure to password protect your Google Play account. This game has in-app purchases.
