PUBG PC/Console 9.2 update adds Dirt Bikes, new Shooting Techniques and new Battle Pass!

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has received the latest update, introducing a new new form of combat along with some interesting features. Update 9.2 introduced “Battle Bride Passthe new one as well Dirt Bike to escape and shoot at high speed.

The update is now live on PC and will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One (also PS5/Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility) on November 26th.

Battle Bride Pass

The Battle Bride Pass is a battle focused on a single character, in this case a character named Sadiya Qureshi. Players will be able to unlock new skins for characters by stepping up to level 15, with a separate pass from the ongoing Survivor Pass: Highlands.

Dirt Bike

The Dirt Bike is a new vehicle that can travel at speeds of up to 80mph and appears on every map except the Karakin. I love that this Dirt Bike story is like motocross, it excels both on road and off road and pairs well with the new ability added in this update: driver shooting. This means that you are riding your motorcycle while shooting at the same time.

Shooting Driver

This new feature will allow players to shoot with one hand. For the first time, guides can also follow the action, while still guarding their vehicle. However, as expected, players should expect slower reload times given the context.

Vehicle Aiming

The view of the guide and passengers on the train is now more stable, and the camera rotation no longer follows the rotation of the vehicle. The aiming angle has also been limited to follow the eyes of other players and passengers. The camera also won’t flip sideways when your vehicle rolls over.

These are the weapons you can use while in scouting:

  • Deagle
  • P18C
  • P1911
  • P92
  • R1895
  • R45
  • Scorpion
  • flare gun
  • Sawed-off – Sawed-off should only be used when riding a motorized vehicle
