PUBG Mobile Announces New Map Named Livik
PUBG Mobile is a successful Battle Royale game until now, continues to bring new content to pamper players, the latest PUBG Mobile just announced a new map called Livik exclusively, but this map will be coming in a future update.
New maps PUBG Mobile it is rumored to be smaller in size (2 KM x 2KM), and can only accommodate a maximum of 40 players.
“This Livik map is inspired by players who love to loot in PUBG Mobile but in a hurry, and whenever they have free time.” said Rick Li, as director of PUBG Mobile.
Livik is based on the Nordic mainland. Despite being smaller in size, this map is filled with various interesting locations, including volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls, and more.
Li also said that the map design process was not only focused on shrinking the map, but also adding interactive elements that lead to faster battles.
Unfortunately, the developer hasn’t said when Livik will launch, but this map will be available soon. Although this map was launched for the mobile platform, there is a possibility that this new map will also be available on other platforms, such as PC and consoles.

PUBG’s success has made this game often competed in various esports competitions, most recently PUBG announced a national-scale tournament called PUBG Mobile Indonesia National Championship (PINC) with a total prize of IDR 550 million. PINC 2021 will be held in 32 provinces throughout Indonesia online with 2 tournament modes, namely Squad Mode, which contains 4 players in 1 team and Solo Mode for players who do not have a team.
