PUBG fans are stunned after the latest update on XBOX One and PS4!

The latest PUBG update for Xbox and PS4 has put the game in a very, very bad state! The update was so bad that it ruined many aspects of the game. Crash, Bug, and Poor Performance do exist in the experience of every PUBG console player, especially in the early releases of PUBG. The so-called issue took a very long time to fix so even PUBG players who were dumbfounded laughed at how bad the PUBG support service was. So these are among the issues in the latest update:

CHAIN ISSUES

An issue regarding players being placed in the wrong region should be fixed in this update. Unfortunately this issue persists where players from Europe are placed in the lobby of North American players.

This causes high lag and makes for a bad gaming experience for both parties involved. Apart from that, this issue should not exist because the EU servers already have enough player numbers to fill the lobby for each match.

CONFIGURATION FOR CONTROLLER RESET

This is probably the most stressful issue in the latest update, although there is a quick fix. For whatever reason, maybe rather than a glitch when testing, every player controller has been reset to default.

This means that each player is using the ‘TYPE A’ configuration. This issue causes a lot of stress to the players because they think PUBG or their controller is broken.

Frame drops

An equally big issue is that players report excessive frame drops. This Frame Drop often takes effect after landing with some people saying that the game will freeze for up to three seconds.

One Reddit user, Tusch said “FPS will drop if the player model changes.” For example when equip helmet, vest, fall from parachute and so on. This will apply to any map.

There is no official reply regarding this update from Bluehole for now. Even though PUBG’s performance is very poor, their communication with players is actually really great. We hope to hear their response as soon as possible and pray for ‘FIX’ to follow suit.
