PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS seems FREE to play this week!

If I had shared PUBG: NEW STATE that they would open their second Alpha test later this month, what do you say this time we switch to the PC version of PUBG as well. If you pay attention PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (or now PUBG: Battlegrounds) for the past four years, but somehow still not convinced yourself to buy it, here’s your chance to experience this phenomenal battle royale for free for a limited time on PC! Yup, Free Play Week of PUBG: Battlegrounds is underway on Steam, giving interested players the opportunity to play all available mods and maps until next Monday, August 16th. Of course, including the map Taego new PUBG, which takes players back to 1980s South Korea.

  • BLACKPINK x PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS – Commemorating the collaboration, various BLACKPINK-themed elements will be applied to the map in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Elements, which include building decals, parachutes, airplane skin banners and thematic changes to equip chests and LV.3 helmets. Select BLACKPINK themed items in the game are also available for purchase. Additional notices can be found here.
  • Survivor Pass: Taego – Players can purchase passes in this game and upgrade them to get various in-game items, including exclusive character and weapon skins.
  • Global Account Event -Make sure to create a Global Account and link to Steam during this Free Play Week to get exclusive “Traditional Glasses-Round” in-game items. Creating a Global Account during Free Play Week will also allow you to save all stats, acquire in-game items, Survivor Pass progress after Free Play Week ends.

Additionally, a typical Newbie Training Course event will last during this time, featuring various rewards to unlock by completing missions:

  • Unlock Sleeveless Cheetah Top with cover a distance of 600m by parachuting
  • Open the rope Utility Belt (Brown) with led-grabbing over the obstacle twice
  • Unlock M16A4 Rugged (Beige) with using two emotes in one match
  • Unlock Wrangler’s Shirt successfully stay alive for 200 minutes (this includes time spent watching teammates in duo/squad mode)
  • Unlock Wide Pants (Red) with loot a total of 300 items

Players can download PUBG: Battlegrounds for free at Steam now and keep playing until next Monday, Aug 16.
