[Genshin Impact] Tips for Completing Bounty Missions

After releasing the update version 1.1, Genshin Impact does have a lot of new content that you can work on. One of them is the Reputation system of each existing city. The higher the city’s Reputation level, you can get a variety of interesting prizes that are useful, such as blueprints for making Gadgets.

To increase your Reputation level, you have to complete many missions, one of which is the Bounty mission. Then what is the Bounty mission itself?

How to Take Bounty Missions

To take the Bounty mission, you can visit an NPC named Hertha in Mondstadt or Ms. Yu at Liyue Harbor. But to open the Bounty mission menu, you have to reach level 2 reputation in each city.

Keep in mind, in a week you can only take and complete Bounty missions only 3 times for both cities. For example, if you take and complete 3 Bounty missions in Mondstadt, then the Bounty mission in Liyue Harbor can no longer be taken. So, it’s better for you to focus on maximizing the reputation level of 1 city first.

Tips for Completing Bounty Missions

In the Bounty mission menu, you will be given 3 options to fight different monsters. The higher the level (marked with a star), the higher the prize you can get.

Here are the rewards that you can get from the Bounty mission:

  • Level 1 (3 Star) – 60 Reputation EXP, 20,000 Mora
  • Level 2 (4 Star) – 80 Reputation EXP, 25,000 Mora
  • Level 3 (5 Star) – 100 Reputation EXP, 30,000 Mora

After you take one of the three options. You can directly track the monsters to be hunted (Navigate). But you have to pay attention to the details of the monsters you are hunting because they have some kind of special treatment and also weaknesses.

For example in the picture above, the monster to be hunted is very fierce (the damage is large), cannot be attacked with Cyro (ice) and Hydro (water) elements. But this monster is very weak with character attacks that use Claymore weapons.

Read carefully this message before you hunt monsters because they can help you when dealing with them.

It’s hunting time!

If you have tracked the whereabouts of the monster to be hunted, there will be a yellow circle on your map. Immediately head to the area to hunt.

Arriving there, you will be given 10 minutes to complete 3 small missions to get clues to the whereabouts of the monsters to be hunted.

Use the Elemental Sight feature to track down these small missions. Complete all three to be able to spawn a monster to hunt.

When the three small missions are completed, you will get the location of the monster to be hunted. Immediately defeat the monster before your time runs out.

After being defeated, it means you have completed the Bounty mission. Go back to Herta in Mondstadt or Ms. Yu Liyue Harbor to report and collect your rewards.
