[Genshin Impact] The Best Ganyu Build Becomes DPS and Support

Genshin Impact finally released officially released Ganyu as a character playable new ones that can be obtained via Wish (gacha). Ganyu is Liyue Qixing’s secretary. Human and animal blood mixed in his veins.

Build Play DPS

You can build Ganyu into a Main DPS character who relies on Charge Attack with his bow. Therefore this build focuses on increasing the attack power of Charge Attack attacks.

Weapon Recommendations

The weapons that you can use for Ganyu as Main DPS are:

Amos Bow – ATK

Increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 12%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG increases by 8% every 0.1 seconds up to 5 times.

Or

Skyward Harp – Crit. Rate

Increases DMG CRIT by 20%. Hit has a 60% chance of dealing a small AOE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only happen once every 4 seconds.

Artifact Recommended

For Artifacts, you can combine each using a set to increase Charge Attack:

Blizzard Strayer x4 (Preferred Status ATK% / Cryo DMG / CRIT DMG / CRIT RATE)

(2) Cryo DMG Bonus +15%

(4) When a character attacks a Cryo-affected opponent, their CRIT Rate is increased by 20%. If the opponent is frozen, the CRIT Rate is increased by an additional 20%.

You can also build Ganyu into a Sub DPS character that relies on Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst as well as Crit base. Huge damage.

Weapon Recommendations

For weapons that you can use for Ganyu as Sub DPS are:

Skyward Harp – Crit. Rate

Increases DMG CRIT by 20%. Hit has a 60% chance of dealing a small AOE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only happen once every 4 seconds.

Or

The Viridescent Hunt – Crit. Rate

Once hit, Normal Attack and Charge Attack have a 50% chance of generating a Typhoon, which will continue to attract nearby enemies, dealing 40% ATK as DMG to this opponent every 0.5s for 4 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 14 seconds.

Artifact Recommended

For Artifacts, it is possible to combine each using a set to increase Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst attacks:

Weapon Recommendations

For weapons that you can use for Ganyu as Support are:

Favonius Warbow – Energy Recharge

CRIT hits have a 60% chance of generating 1 Elemental Orb, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only happen every 12 seconds.

Or

Sacrificial Bow – Energy Recharge

After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, this skill has a 40% chance to end its own CD. Can only happen every 30 seconds.

Or

The Stringless – Elemental Mastery

Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%.
