For the third time, Cyberpunk 2077's release has been postponed again

From April to September, then continued again to November, who would have thought that the release of Cyberpunk 2077 would be delayed again? Despite having announced the news of the completion of the open world RPG game publicly, CD Projekt Red in the end still feels that it is not ready to market Cyberpunk 2077 in front of fans.

Through a sudden info they shared yesterday the day after tomorrow, the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 game which was originally scheduled to air on November 19, 2021, has now been officially shifted to December 10, 2021.

From there, this delay became the third time that Cyberpunk 2077 has occurred, although it has only been delayed or postponed in a span of 3 weeks.

Not a few fans are certainly very confused and disappointed in responding to CD Projekt’s decision. Moreover, reflecting on the overtime efforts they had done as well as tweets promise that this game will no longer be delayed.

From CD Projekt’s side, the delay is not without reason. From the start, they intended to release Cyberpunk 2077 on all platforms, both current and next-gen platforms at the same time.

Reported through a Biznes interview, unfortunately, the Cyberpunk 2077 game is known to be still not optimized so that it can be played smoothly on current-gen platforms such as PS4 and Xbox One. While on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X platforms, CD Projekt has dared to guarantee that the optimization of Cyberpunk 2077’s development is considered complete there.

Represented by Adam Kicinski as the CEO of CDPR, he really wants the Cyberpunk 2077 game to get an initial impression from the players who were so good when it was first released. Even from this incident, his team also admitted that they learned quite a lot about the preparations they had to do in completing the development of game projects in a timely manner.

Let’s hope this really is the ultimate delay for this game.
