Eorzea Arrival Guest From Monster Hunter World
The crossover event between Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter World became even more interesting after Square Enix released the latest trailer for the event. When Monster Hunter World gets Behemoth, it’s Final Fantasy 14’s turn to invade Rathalos.
From the trailer we can see, it seems that Square Enix is also adapting some elements from Monster Hunter in the fight with Rathalos. Similar to Monster hunters, players can also be blown away when hit by Rathalos’ tail wagging. Positioning is very important in Final Fantasy 14, but it seems that just standing behind Rathalos will not be enough to avoid this one monster attack.
In keeping with the Monster Hunter theme, defeating Rathalos will give players a new Armor. It is not yet known whether players have to make their armor first like in Monster Hunter, or the armor will drop automatically in Final Fantasy style.
Of all the things you can get after fighting bosses in Final Fantasy, the rarest item is usually Mount. Rathalos can be your mount if you are lucky enough.
No less, you can also get 2 super cute pets, namely Palico and Poogie from this event.
