Using VGA 10 Years Ago, This Youtuber Plays AAA Games at 72p Resolution

GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – A Youtuber did an experiment where he played AAA games at 72p resolution using VGA output 10 years ago.

This YouTuber with a channel called RandomGaminginHD tries to run some games that are known to be heavy using VGA output 10 years ago, namely AMD Radeon HD6450 (2011) and Nvidia GT 710 (2021).

It is certain that if you use the right-aligned setting, of course this old VGA cannot withstand the load given by the AAA game. The games used by RandomGaminginHD in this test include GTA V, Days Gone, Fortnite, and even Cybepunk 2077.

Some of these games are set to use a resolution of 72p to test whether the AMD Radeon HD6450 (2011) and Nvidia GT 710 (2021) are able to run games that come out today.

The result was surprising, this old VGA managed to get 50 FPS in the Fortnite game. In fact, GTA V, which is famous for being heavy on PC, can get around 25-30 FPS.

But it’s a different story with the games Days Gone and Cyberpunk 2077. This old VGA apparently failed to get 20 FPS so it’s not recommended to be played again.

Even so, the idea of this experiment is arguably a brilliant breakthrough. It was rare for anyone to think about conducting an experiment like this.
