Update 1.1 PUBG Mobile, Lightweight Installation to Metro Royale

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – PUBG Mobile released its latest update patch, 1.1 which was released on Tuesday (11/10/2021). One of the updates in this patch is the Lightweight Installation Function and Metro Royale mode. The Lightweight Installation feature will reduce PUBG Mobile’s file size by up to 70 percent, while still guaranteeing the same game experience as players who play the standard version.

As confirmed by PUBG Mobile through its official twitter account @PUBGMOBILE, Lightweight Installation Function can reduce game file size from 1.9 GB to 610 MB. In addition to reducing the size of the game, this function also promises a smoother playing experience, by optimizing the download speed and game updates.

Lightweight Installation Function provides options for gamers to save data, download, or delete PUBG Mobile game data. Parts that can be set by gamers, for example, are related to maps, gameplay, other features, and so on.

While Metro Metro Royale is the latest game mode which is the result of PUBG Mobile collaboration with Metro Exodus, an FPS genre game with a post apocalyptic horror theme. Gamers will be faced with mutant monsters that mutate due to the radiation effects of nuclear war. In addition, the threat of deteriorating air quality due to radiation makes the difficulties increase.

Players are also equipped with a variety of new weapons. Unlike the Classic battle royale mode where players have to loot to get weapons, in this game mode players can prepare their own weapons before fighting.

The lobby for this mode can be accessed via the metro tunnel entrance in the main menu lobby of PUBG Mobile. Here you’ll find the Black Market, a shop that allows players to buy new equipment before heading into the game while selling loot they previously left behind.
