Three Kingdoms: Legendary Hero Admits Mistakes and Delete Young Lex's Last King Video Clip

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Social media was enlivened with the music video for rapper Young Lex’s “Last King” which was allegedly a “copy paste” of Lay EXO’s MV, “Lit”. Young Lex’s own video is part of the promotion of the Legendary Three Kingdoms Hero mobile game. In this regard, the developer of the game Three Kingdoms Hero Legendary has clarified and acknowledged his negligence.

The company claimed from the start to comply with every requirement requested by Google and the AppStore. Including buying rights from iconic stars, MV (music video) songs, commercials and more.

“Here about the MV Young Lex-King Last, which is making a stir at the moment, our company as a user of this song cannot maintain the basic that must be maintained, namely the protection of this advertising material and we plead guilty,” the company posted on Instagram @ threekingdomsherolegendaris, Tuesday (9/3/2021).

The developer pleaded guilty and apologized to Lay Zhang for the plagiarism case. They confirmed that they would re-examine and fire workers from the relevant agencies.

“When we became aware of this problem, the first action was to delete all MVs on our social media and contact each party concerned to delete news or content related to this MV song.”

According to Gamefinity’s monitoring, at the time of writing, the video in question is no longer accessible. Furthermore, the company will form a group to monitor this problem and be more careful so that similar problems do not happen again in the future.

“We, the company, apologize to Lay Zhang and the agency. Hopefully Lay Zhang everything can run smoothly,” concluded the Three Kingdoms: Legendary Hero team.

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion Young Lex also stated a clarification regarding the plagiarism of the song video. Even so, he refused to apologize for the latest MV on his YouTube channel.

“I work with the Agency only as Talent and songwriter; and I hereby declare that I did not participate in the Creative Process in producing the music video until there was an ALLEGED SIMILARITY to the costumes, ornaments, and/or several scenes in the LAY music video entitled LIT in the content on my current YouTube channel, ” he said.

As is known, the video for the song was used to promote the mobile game Three Kingdoms: Legendary Hero. A number of media, even foreign media (koreaboo.com) compared the intro and concept of the video clip of The Last King with Lit. On social media, netizens, especially fans of Lay, made a video that juxtaposed the two video clips, while inserting the hashtag Respect Zhang Yixing.

As a result, the names Young Lex and “Respect Zhang Yixing” became trending topics on Twitter due to this case. The hashtags “Young Lex”, “Plagiarism”, “Dragon”, and “RESPECT ZHANG YIXING” are trending Twitter topics.
