In a podcast hosted by Wasd.tv, They discuss the success of the CIS LoL team, ‘Unicorns of Love’ in League of Legends: Worlds 2021. Maelstorm highlights the increase in live streaming in Russia after Unicorns of Love started to produce decent results.
“The broadcasts are good, they are supported in every way, but the numbers [penayangan] average. Slowly increasing, but not rapidly increasing. But once the CIS team could show the results, the numbers went up. I don’t doubt for a second that if they reach the finals they will have 200K views on Russian broadcasts. Maybe there will be more,” said Maelstorm.

“We need to slowly accept LoL. I am not kidding. People may think I’m joking, but I can almost guarantee that in five years time LoL will be more popular than Dota in the CIS,” said NS.
