Thanks to Infinix Ads Makes the Boss of Xiaomi Indonesia Angry

GAMEFINITY.ID, Denpasar – A few days ago there was a drama between Xioami and Infinix, due to an error in writing the specifications of a mystery cellphone from the Infinix ad. This ad is distributed on the Instagram platform, and uploaded directly by Infinix’s official account.

At first, Poco Phone (a subsidiary of Xiaomi) made an advertisement comparing the Poco Phone M3 with the Infinix Hot 10s. Apparently, in this ad the content is about the Poco Phone M3 which is superior to the Infinix Hot 10s. Like using a Full HD + resolution screen coated with Gorilla Glass 3, already 18W fast-charging, 15 months warranty, and so on. Amazingly, Poco’s side clearly wrote down the Hot 10s and displayed the front view of the Infinix Hot 10s.

Infinix did not want to stay silent and replied to the ad in the next few days. The advertising concept used by Infinix is not far from the Poco ad, by comparing the specifications of its rivals directly. Infinix writes that the Infinix Hot 10s has a better screen because it has a refresh rate of 90Hz, has Face Unlock and fingerprint, and a more affordable price.

However, without realizing it, Infinix seems to have miswritten the specifications of the mystery cellphone, they wrote the screen resolution of the competitor using HD + resolution. This mystery cellphone looks like the Xiaomi Redmi 9T from the front, plus there is writing like 9T in the lower right corner of the ad and is reinforced with specifications written similar to those of the Xiaomi Redmi 9T.

Because based on this, the Xiaomi Indonesia boss aka Alvin Tse also intervened by commenting directly on the ad with his personal Instagram account!. He stated that this ad is not good and can mislead potential buyers or readers. Therefore, Alvin Tse plans to raise this issue to the Ministry, Alvin said that “We reserve the right to raise this to the Ministry for false advertising”

So, do you think the mystery cellphone from the Infinix ad is really the Xiaomi Redmi 9T?
