Tencent Disqualified and Banned Grimz G2 For Falsifying Player Age Data

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The PUBG Mobile competition held by Tencent, PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Spring Split 2021 which took place on 17-21 February 2021, had to be marked by disqualification incidents. One of the PUBG Mobile teams participating in PMCO ID Spring Split 2021, Grimz G2 was disqualified for falsifying the data of underage players.

This announcement was announced by PUBG Mobile Esports on its official Facebook account. The organizers of PMCO ID Spring Split 2021 suspect that Grimz G2 has committed “Ringing” fraud. Where the player data they provided to the tournament organizers turned out to be different.

The player is known to use the nickname GRIMZxZiroG2. Due to this problem, the player and the team concerned are subject to a 1 year ban from all official Tencent tournaments.

Grimz G2 through their Instagram account has also apologized to all related parties. Through its official announcement via Instagram, Grimz Esports also did not know that GRIMZxZiroG2 was underage and had falsified data.

“We from Grimz Esports apologize profusely for the problems that occurred to Grimz G2 at PMCO this time. We ourselves did not know that one of the players from Grimz G2, namely GRIMZxZiroG2, was a minor player and had falsified data,” wrote grimzesports.
