Rocket League Comes to Android and iOS with a Spin-off Named Sideswipe
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Rocket League will be coming to mobile devices under the title “Rocket League Sideswipe”. This mobile game is a new version of the multiplayer game for iOS and Android devices. This was announced by the developer Psyonix, Wednesday (24/3/2021).
Sideswipe will feature all the legendary Rocket League mobile soccer action, just a little smaller. The game will feature 1v1 or 2v2 matches that will only last about two minutes each.
Sideswipe will also feature online multiplayer. Just like the original version of the game, Rocket League Sideswipe will be free to download and play.
While most of the game mechanics are recognizable to those who have played Rocket League on the platform before, Psyonix introduced a few changes to help make the game easier to play and control on the mobile platform.
The game will feature slightly modified controls that have been optimized for mobile and a different camera perspective that will make the player’s car easy to play even on small screens.
Psyonix has yet to announce an official release date for Rocket League Sideswipe, but the game is expected to be released globally later this year. The developer also plans to release beta and tests for the game in the near future.
The tests will be divided by region, and players in Australia and New Zealand will get their first chance to test the game from Wednesday.
