Riot Reactivates Killjoy! Can be used in Valorant First Strike!

Riot reactivates Killjoy in VALORANT, along with Bugs for Omen and Sage

Killjoy has been reactivated in VALORANT the day after Riot Games took Killjoy out of the game to fix a bug that broke the game.

In addition to Killjoy’s return, Riot says it fixes a bug for Sage and Omen, meaning all three are playable as they should now.

Killjoy was disabled in-game yesterday after players reported a bug where players could place turrets under the map.

Players abuse the mechanics to cover areas of the map with an invisible turret.

With this very fast patch fix, it won’t be too disruptive to the meta that teams will use when participating in the big Valorant tournament, First Strike.

Previously, many fans were afraid that this would make First Strike less exciting because the teams had to suddenly change their meta.

As for Sage and Omen, the big problem revolves around the Sage skill to help Omen teleport to “where he shouldn’t be.”

Players have found a way for the Sage to use the barrier before the round begins and help Omen teleport through the spawn barrier.

This allows Omen to have freedom over the map and surprises opponents with being so close at the start of the round.
