Razer HyperPolling Technology has surpassed the standard gaming mouse of only 1000Hz polling rate and now supports up to 8000Hz polling rate for faster response, ushering in a new era of gaming on responsiveness, speed and reliability.

Currently, most gaming mice can only support up to 1000Hz polling rate, while other mice focus on making more accurate and responsive mice, but few consider the click speed and positional data transmitted to the PC to be faster and responsive. With higher PC specs and higher monitor refresh rates, higher polling rates can eliminate annoying micro-stutters, improving the gaming experience significantly.

This allows the 8KHz Viper to transmit 8x more than any other gaming mouse per second and reduces input delay from 1ms to 1/8ms.

Razer HyperPolling Technology can transmit more data to compensate for the monitor’s faster refresh rate. As a result, the delay between the last data and frame rendering of the monitor is less than a mouse with a polling rate of 1000Hz, the movement is smoother and more up-to-date with respect to cursor position.

A higher polling rate can reduce input delay, reduce micro-stutters and the effect of jumping from the cursor position, so that the cursor movement on the screen becomes more accurate and smoother.
