PMGC Finals 2021, Indonesia Brings Home One Individual Title
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Two teams from Indonesia that competed in the grand final of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021, Bigetron RA and Aerowolf Limax, have not managed to come out as champions. Even so, BTR RA player Ryzen managed to bring home the individual title as Grenade Master.
The players from and the competing teams have struggled to give their best in the competition, while entertaining the fans who watch it from behind the screen. The organizers themselves claim PMGC 2021 is the most watched event in the history of PUBG Mobile Esports.
For individual records, Sukk of 4 Angry Men (4AM) was awarded as the best player or MVP. This player from China performed well during the 4 days of the tournament, both as an IGL and as a fragger. Total Sukk recorded 54 kills while dealing a total of 11,510 damage. He also lasted a total of 631 minutes and 9 seconds. Sukk also contributed 27.6 percent overall to the team, as well as crowning himself as MVP and entitled to a prize of 15,000 USD or around Rp. 210 million.
Meanwhile, although he has not succeeded in bringing his team Bigetron RA to the PMGC 2021 title, players from Indonesia from Ryzen have successfully won individual titles as Grenade Masters. This title is awarded to the player who kills the most with grenades in a tournament in both the league and final stages. Ryzen recorded a total of 26 Grenade Kills in this tournament.
PUBG Mobile also awards individual awards to several other categories throughout the league and tournament final stages. Here are the other individual awards:
- Gunslingers: The award is given to the player with the most kills in the tournament. Sukk of 4 Angry Men (4AM) won the title with a total of 203 kills in 89 matches. Total Sukk recorded 31,512 damage, for a total of 40 headshots.
- Eagle Eyes: The title “Eagle’s Eye” is awarded to the player who kills the enemy player from the farthest distance. This award was won by Thai Beer11 player from RRQ Athens. He managed to record a kill from a very long distance, 463 meters.
- Grenade Masters: Ryzen from Bigetron Red Aliens (BTR RA) proved to be the best at using grenades in matches. In total he recorded 26 Grenade Kills throughout the tournament.
- The Survivors: The survivor title is awarded to the player who survives the most during the tournament. This award went to Dante from the Bangladesh team, A1 eSports. Dante lasted for a total of 2073 minutes and 56 seconds. He also recorded 49 kills with a total damage of 9,238. The longest holding time was 25 minutes and 56 seconds.
- Medical Fields: This award is given to the PUBG Mobile player who revives the most in the tournament. Turkey’s Lovazin of Team Futbolist won the title after making 67 revives in the tournament.
