PlayStation Will Continue Online Store Service on PS 3 and PS Vita

GridGames.ID – The PlayStation Store announced that it would close its online store service for PS3 and PS Vita some time ago.

However, after further lengthy discussion, they explained they made the wrong decision to close the service.

Reported from Blog.Playstation yesterday (20/4), they announced that the PlayStation Store service for PS3 and PS Vita will continue.

Not only that, they also announced that the store service on the PSP will be discontinued on July 2, 2021 as planned.

PlayStation did not close their online store service because they saw that there were still many who were enthusiastic about being able to continue buying classic games on PS3 and PS Vita.

Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said: “We are delighted to be able to keep this part of their history alive and for gamers to enjoy.

He also said that he would continue to create new, cutting-edge game worlds for PS4, PS5 and the next generation of VR.
