PB Esports will Hold a Middle School Esports Competition throughout Jabodetabek

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Executive Board of Esports Indonesia (PBESI) will hold an esports competition between high schools and the equivalent throughout Greater Jakarta. The Jabodetabek Student Cup Season 1 #PelajarUntukNegeri will be held from 9 to 13 November 2021.

The esports competition this time is one of the PBESI programs which is also an activity to commemorate Hero’s Day which is commemorated every November 10. Through this very positive activity, it is hoped that it can become a means for the younger generation, especially high school students and the equivalent to cultivate a tough, optimistic, competitive mentality and uphold sportsmanship. In addition, through this competition activity, the younger generation can prepare themselves to become professional esports athletes.

It is also hoped that this competition activity can motivate high school students and the equivalent to choose activities that are positive and have achievements. Esports is not only about games, but as an outstanding sport that is competed and recognized at the international level.

This time, the match which will be held for 4 days will feature the Free Fire game. It is possible that the next season will compete with other games. The event will be held online and the grand final will be held semi-online at the PB Esports Indonesia office, which of course will always comply with the applicable health protocols.

“Esports as a new sport will always try to make the nation proud. The competition, titled the Jabodetabek Student Cup Season 1, with the hashtag #pelajaruntuknegeri, PBESI will prepare cash prizes for winners and esports coaching money for schools,” said Frenky Ong, Secretary General of PB Esports Indonesia.

PBESI has prepared a total prize for the Jabodetabek Student Cup Season 1 of IDR 500,000,000. The prize consists of IDR 300,000,000 which will be given to the winners and IDR 200,000,000 will be given as money for esports coaching at schools.

High school students and their equivalent who are interested in participating in this competition can register immediately because registration will only be open until November 7, 2021. Registration can be done at http://bit.ly/pialapelajar. The requirements for status as a student; one team must come from the same school; the school’s domicile is in Jabodetabek; and participants are required to ‘Like’ and ‘Follow’ PB Esports Indonesia’s social media (@pbesi_official).
