ONIC Kairi's scathing answer after being called Bren Karltzy didn't develop
ONIC Kairi managed to silence Bren Karltzy’s mouth with the result of the match in MPL PH Season 8 and a relaxed answer with a spicy meaning to reply to criticism.
After having the third week MPL PH Season 8 After suffering a 1-2 defeat to RSG PH and Blacklist International, ONIC PH managed to recover in their first match in the fourth week by winning 2-0 over Bren Esports, Saturday (18/9/2021).
In that match, ONIC Kairi as the team jungler managed to become one of the team’s winning stars. Always playing Lancelot in both games, he has made a big contribution to the team.
In the two games played, ONIC Kairi’s Lancelot had KDA of 5/1/5 and 8/1/4, respectively. In addition, he also successfully won the MVP title in the second game.
This victory succeeded in bringing ONIC PH to second place in the standings with a record of five wins and two defeats. They only lost to Blacklist International who are at the top of the standings with an unbeaten record in eight matches.

ONIC Kairi responds to mixed comments from Bren Esports players
After the match, ONIC Kairi took part in a post-match interview with the host of MPL PH Season 8, Mara Aquino. In the interview, Mara mentioned that Bren CJ Ribo praised himself as the best jungler, despite Bren Karltzy’s opposition because he was seen as underdeveloped.
In response to this, ONIC Kairi chose to answer it casually and modestly, but with a sense of being quite spicy. Apart from having proven it in matches, he also responded to the criticism by mentioning Bren Esports’ current performance.
“Good luck in the next fight. We can’t reply because I’m not arrogant. I also don’t want to go down to their level,” said ONIC Kairi.
The answer also succeeded in impressing Mara Aquino and praising ONIC Kairi for choosing to avoid problems or argue with other teams.
Currently, ONIC Esports still has seven more matches left for them to face in the regular season of MPL PH Season 8. With their performance so far, their chances of qualifying for the upper bracket in the playoffs are wide open, even though their advantage is not big enough over other competitors, especially RSG.
