Omen Bug in Icebox’s New Map Destroys Valorant! Valorant’s newest map, Icebox, has received quite a mixed response from its fans.

There are those who like Icebox because it brings a new theme to the design of the Valorant map, but there are those who don’t like this map because they feel that this map is very profitable for only a few agents.

Even so, all Valorant players can agree that the Icebox map was quite buggy when it first launched.

The Icebox map was presented together with the 1.10 Act 3 patch update, and Valorant players immediately wanted to try this new map.

Unfortunately, many players are dissatisfied with their gaming experience on Map Icebox, and the biggest reason is that they have encountered several bugs.

In addition to poor server connections while playing on Icebox, Omen users discovered a bug that greatly benefited their favorite agent.

One of the Valorant players pointed out the bug that allowed Omen to teleport under the Kitchen in the Icebox.

This glitch allows Omen to exit the map unseen, while other agents remain visible.

This can provide Omen and his team with very important information in the match and this is certainly not what Valorant had planned

Valorant’s Response to the Omen bug

Of course, seeing the comments and inputs given by players, the developer of Valorant, Riot Games, immediately considered it quickly and issued a new update that fixed the Omen bug.

Thanks for bearing with us while we fix the issues with Icebox. We’ve squashed most of the serious bugs, but there are a few (including an audio glitch) that the next patch will fix. Until then, you can still play on Icebox in Unrated, but, like always, be ready for anything.

This is not the first time Omen has experienced game breaking bugs, previously this agent also got a bug in the Bind map that could make him teleport out of the spawn barrier at the beginning of the round. But Riot Games immediately fixed this bug quickly.

The Icebox map will not be available in competitive mode until October 27, 2021, with the arrival of the newest agent Valorant Skye.

For the time being, players can try the Icebox map in Unrated, Custom Game and Spike Rush modes.
