GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – Problems that occur due to online games are increasingly occurring in various regions, one of which is in Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu.

Following up on complaints from the public about online games, Sapuan as the Regent of Mukomuko Regency has also taken steps.

Sapuan has sent an application letter to the Minister of Communication and Information to block online games in the Mukomuko area. He sent the letter because online games are considered to have more negative impacts on teenagers in their area.

The Regent has submitted an application letter to ask the Minister of Communication and Information through the Director General of Information at the Ministry of Communication and Information to block online games in the Mukomuko Regency area,“said the Head of the Communications and Information Office, Bustari Maller.

In the letter he sent, Regent Mukomuko specifically mentioned which games he asked to block. The games include Free Fire, PUBG, Mobile Legends, and Higgs Domino.

The sweep of choosing these games is of course with a reason, he considers that the game has the most negative impact on teenagers.

The application letter has explained several points regarding the negative impact of the online game.

They, the children, have become addicts to online games so this condition should immediately receive serious attention from the central government,” said Bustari Maller.

From a medical point of view, Regent Mukomuko explained that children who are addicted to online games will experience visual impairment, obesity, and Quervain syndrome.

Then from the psychological side, children will become more individual, selfish, and the worst thing is that children will become anti-social or what is often referred to as nolep.

According to Regent Mukomuko, the role of parents alone is not enough in educating and controlling their children, the government must also intervene in this case by blocking online games.
