Long Awaited, Finally Honkai Impact 3 Collaboration With Genshin Impact Officially Announced

GAMEFINITY.ID, Salatiga – After a long wait, MiHoYo finally officially announced a crossover event between Honkai Impact 3 and Genshin Impact. This event was enthusiastically welcomed by fans, both Honkai Impact and Genshin Impact fans.

The Honkai x Genshin crossover event will be released on June 10, 2021, to be precise on the Honkai Impact Version 4.9 update on the Chinese server. There is still no certainty about the release date of this crossover on global servers, but Global Official Twitter from Honkai Impact 3 has announced about this event. So we can be sure that this event will be present on the global server sooner or later.

Honkai Impact 3 and Genshin Impact Event Content

In this Honkai x Genshin collaboration event, players will be treated to a variety of interesting content. First, two well-known characters from Genshin Impact namely Fischl and Keqing will fill the list of playable characters of Honkai Impact 3. Paimon the mascot of Genshin Impact also participates in this crossover but here Paimon only acts as an NPC.

The Fischl character can be obtained by players for free just by logging in during the crossover event. As for Keqing, it is reported that it will not be included in the permanent roster of Honkai Impact 3 and can only be played temporarily at this event.

Then the second, Andrius or Lupus Boreas who became Weekly Boss Genshin Impact will be present in Honkai Impact 3 as a boss enemy. In addition, the enemies in Genshin Impact such as Ruin Guard and Slimes are also added to the game as regular enemies.

And lastly, Teri’s character in Honkai Impact 3 will get Klee’s exclusive skin/costume, one of the playable characters from Genshin Impact.

When will this crossover event come to Genshin Impact?

Unfortunately, this crossover event will only be on Honkai Impact 3 for now. According to the Twitter account @GenshinReport, there are no plans from MiHoYo to bring this collaboration into Genshin Impact in the near future.

Even so, leaks from the Inazuma update show that Archon Electro’s design, namely Baal or Raiden Shogun, was inspired by the character Raiden Mei, one of the characters from Honkai Impact 3. So it is possible that these two characters are related and a crossover event will be present at Genshin Impact in the Inazuma update. .
