High Enthusiasm, IGL Returns to Work on Call of Duty Exhibition Tournament
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Successfully holding the Pre-League Call of Duty (COD) last weekend, Indonesia Gaming Lague (IGL) again held another exhibition tournament in the middle of the week. This is because of the high attention from COD players who want to participate in this battle royal genre game.
Based on vivagoal monitoring on Tuesday (5/5) afternoon, it was recorded that 18 teams had registered. There were three big names in the COD IGL exhibition tournament, namely XCN Gaming, PPP and Horus. In fact, the first named team brought three of its teams at once in this tournament.
Regarding game play, there is something different from the previous tournament. In this exhibition tournament, we do not use the best-of-5 system, namely 5v5 battles. The mode used is Gunfight with a 3v3 scheme. Not only that, the system that is being worked on at this event is eliminaton. The team that manages to get 7 points first from each map is declared the winner.
There are 9 maps that are competed in each match, including Hill, King, Pine, Speedball, Stack, Docks, Cargo, Bazaar & Shipment. Not only that, the team that comes out as the champion will get a cash prize of IDR 3 million. Meanwhile, Runner Up is rewarded with Rp. 1.5 million and the third place winner gets Rp. 500 thousand.
IGL as the organizer does not give quota limits to teams that want to play. This means that any team that feels competent in this Battle Royal game can register until Wednesday (6/5) at 24:00 WIB. The tournament itself is scheduled to be held on 7 May.
