GridGames.ID – Garena today (19/3) has just announced that it will hold an international tournament for one of its games, Free Fire.
Titled Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore (FFWS 2021 SG), the tournament is scheduled to be held in May in Singapore.
FFWS 2021 SG marks the beginning of the return of the normal Free Fire international esports tournament, after previously being held online.

Unmitigated, FFWS 2021 SG offers a total prize of USD 2 million or around Rp. 28 billion.
The total prize is the largest in the history of the Free Fire esports competition. Goks!
The World Series itself is the largest and most iconic esports tournament of the Free Fire game.
The inaugural tournament, Free Fire World Series 2021, was watched by more than 2 million viewers at the same time.
It later became the world record for the first mobile game esports tournament according to Esports Charts.

FFWS 2021 SG will hold the Play-ins on 22 May and the Finals on 29 May.
It was previously announced that it would be held on April 24 (Play-Ins) and May 1 (Finals), but was postponed due to the global pandemic situation.
