Free Fire World Series 2021 Prints the Most Viewer Record

Telset.id, Jakarta – The Free Fire World Series 2021 competition which was held in Singapore managed to break a record in the esports world. The event, which ended on May 30, was watched by more than 5.4 million simultaneous online viewers worldwide.

according to Esports Charts, streaming the Free Fire World Series 2021 competition which is broadcast in Indonesian has been watched by more than 17 million views, with a record of more than 1 million viewers watching simultaneously (peak concurrent viewers).

The two videos shown from this competition also managed to reach trending number 1 for the Gaming category on YouTube Indonesia, and the third position for the most viewers from 14 other translated languages.

“We hope that the presence of this global Free Fire competition can unite a community of passionate Indonesian gamers wherever they are, as well as inspire new potential talents in the esports world,” said Christian Wihananto, Producer of Garena Free Fire Indonesia.

The Free Fire World Series 2021 competition brings together 18 teams from 11 regions in Singapore for a total cash prize of USD 2 million or equivalent to Rp. 28 billion, which is the largest prize in the Free Fire competition so far.

The point earning system is based on rank and number kills. Phoenix Force from Thailand won the FFWS 2021 title and brought home USD 500,000 or approximately IDR 7 billion as a prize, after dominating in the final round by getting 4 Booyah, 48 kills, and 113 points.

The Phoenix Force victory marked the success of the team from Thailand in winning the world title for the first time in the history of the Free Fire tournament. TheCruz of the Phoenix Force team was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title after delivering consistent performances with 23 kills.

Phoenix Force also managed to lead far with a difference of 36 points from the runner-up team LOUD from Brazil who collected a total of 77 points.

Meanwhile, Indonesia was represented by Evos Divine and First Raiders. Unfortunately, both of them have not succeeded in bringing the title to the country.
