Free CS:GO Players Will No Longer Be Able To Play Ranked Match

But over time, the access given to these free players has been abused by people who hinder the game for new and old players. Yes, there’s no mistaking it, since this game has been released for free, lots of cheaters have been present to destroy the game.

Therefore, Valve has recently announced changes to the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with a number of features that are no longer available to free or non-Prime players.

Previously, free or non-prime players could access ranked match mode, skill groups, and free upgrades to Prime status for those who reached level 21. But with this change, in the future free or non-Prime players will not be able to access all of them and will no longer be able to access them. receive XP.

Ranked matches are now only available exclusively to players with Prime status. However, free or non-prime players can still enjoy other modes such as Casual, Workshop maps or Deathmatch.

Free players can still upgrade to Prime status by purchasing the Prime Status Upgrade from Steam for 213 thousand Rupiah. But keep in mind, for those of you who are still non-prime, you have to buy the upgrade in the next two weeks if you want your rank, group skill and XP to carry over.

In addition, Valve also introduced a new mode called ‘Unranked’. Both players with non Prime or Prime status can play this mode without affecting the existing skill group.
