The 2021 SEA Games is history for Indonesian esports. This is the first time that the highest sporting event in Southeast Asia has included esports in the competition.
There are six esports branches being played starting from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, Tekken, Dota 2, Starcraft II, and Hearthstone.
Indeed, the three branches that we mentioned last will certainly fail to win medals because they have fallen, but the potential for gold is still there in MLBB, AOV, and Tekken.
Even for the minimum MLBB we get silver, while the worst AOV is bronze. Of course, we pray that gold will be obtained in the two branches of this MOBA game.
Erick Herlangga as Chairman of the Indonesian Esports National Team made an online speech in the form of a message that all esports components in Indonesia unite to support the remaining esports national teams.
Indeed today and tomorrow, Sunday (8/12) and Monday (9/12) will be the determination of medals because the remaining three games will be competed.
Let’s support and pray together so that the three golds can be won by the MLBB, AOV, and Tekken national teams.
