In addition to the last two places to the Epicenter Moscow Major 2021, the eight teams will also compete for the prize money of USD 300,000 (approximately Rp. 4.3 billion) and 500 Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) points.

Despite their minor status, these eight teams will certainly continue to present fierce battles that have also been seen in the qualifying rounds in each region.

In the European region, the two eligible teams are NiP and Alliance. NiP dominated the qualifying playoffs with a 2-0 win over all of their opponents.

Meanwhile, Alliance managed to qualify for the finals after being able to rise after being defeated by NiP by bending the Final Tribe to secure second place.

Meanwhile in North America, with only four teams participating in the qualifying round, Complexity Gaming was able to take control by defeating Beastcoast and J.Storm twice.

While in the qualifying round of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) or Russia region which was participated by six teams, Winstrike successfully stepped into the final round after defeating Natus Vincere (NAVI).

Just like Europe, the qualifying rounds in the China region are also competing for two places to appear in the finals. EHOME looked extraordinary because they were unbeaten throughout the qualification and beat Team Sirius in the final.

Meanwhile, Team Sirius has the right to qualify after recovering from their defeat and defeating Keen Gaming in the losers finals.

While in the Southeast Asia region, Mineski managed to qualify after twice defeating BOOM ID and Power of MYSG + AU in the qualifying round.

The last region to complete their closed-door qualifiers was South America which was exciting and surprising.

Surprising because Gorillaz-Pride looks like it will easily secure a ticket to Ukraine, after successfully defeating all opponents and stepping convincingly into the final.

However, the dream of the Gorillaz-Pride was dashed after they lost in the final to Anvorgesa who came from the losers bracket with a score of 0-2.
