Enter the Afterlife of Shadowlands, World of Warcraft's Newest Expansion

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The player’s journey into the afterlife of Azeroth begins with the launch of eight expansions for Blizzard Entertainment’s most popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. This expansion includes the new Exile’s Reach introduction adventure, a complete overhaul of the leveling experience, and easier character strengthening to jump right into the new expansion.

In the Shadowlands, the afterlife realms, the souls of Azeroth find a new purpose: to rise in rank, to atone for sins, to reincarnate, to fight endless wars or to experience eternal suffering. For millions of World of Warcraft (WoW) players around the world, the journey to pursue their destiny in the afterlife begins after the launch of Shadowlands.

In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, heroes from the Horde and Alliance factions will face off against the mysteries of the dead as they explore an underworld full of charm and wonder. Along the way, they will forge an important pact with one of the four Covenant rulers of the Shadowlands to use their powers to confront the forces of the Jailer, an evil being that rules the abyss of the Maw.

Players will have their willpower tested during their quest to retrieve the lost souls of the ever-watching Jailers and explore the labyrinthine corridors of Torghast, the Tower of the Damned, where terrifying creatures and legendary treasure await them.

“Shadowlands brings WoW players to a part of the world of Warcraft they’ve never been before, and provides the opportunity to build their character in a whole new way,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment.

“Whether it’s exploring every aspect of their chosen Covenant or crafting their own legendary equipment in the Tower of the Damned, we are excited for players to discover the experience that awaits them in the afterlife of Azeroth.”

Shadowlands is launched after a number of recent updates to the WoW game designed to make it easier for new players and returning players to experience the fun. On the island of Exile’s Reach, new players will discover a whole new introduction adventure that teaches them what it takes to become an Azeroth champion.

This includes quests that show off the abilities of their chosen class and two mini-dungeon bosses that teach the basics of party play. Once new players leave the island, they can immediately move on to the game’s latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, where they can progress to level 50 in preparation for entering Shadowlands.

For the previous expansion, players who wish to prepare one of their new or low-level characters to directly enter the realm of the dead can use Shadowlands-level Character Boost, which is included in the Heroic and Epic Editions of this expansion or is available as a standalone purchase.
