Dozens of CS:GO Trainers Banned For Exploiting the Spectator Bug

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Over the past few months, dozens of CS:GO trainers have been banned because they exploited the specctator bug in the CS:GO game. Through this bug, trainers can use the “birds-eye” feature that shouldn’t be allowed.

Regarding this, ESIC (Esports Integrity Commission) has announced several coaches who take advantage of the bug in official tournaments such as ESL and DreamHack. Some of these coaches include MIBR’s Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia, Heroic’s Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen, and Hard Legion’s Aleksandr “MechanoGun” Bogatiryev. In addition to these names, ESIC also issued sanctions against 37 other coaches.

As reported by.ID from the PC Gamer page (29/9/2021), each coach caught in violation is given a ‘demerit point’ according to the level of the sanction. The system is ensured to be fair and every perpetrator receives the appropriate law.

“We know that most coaches, players, tournament organizers, publishers and developers, fans, sponsors and other elements want CS:GO and Esports to be clean and fair competition between players and teams. We see our job is to make sure that happens. Therefore, we are taking firm action against this incident,” said ESIC.
