Don't Buy First, Battlefield 1 Game Rumored To Be Free Next Week
GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Ahead of the release of Battlefield 2042, rumors emerged that EA would free one of its old Battlefield series, Battlefield 1. This rumor came from a well-known leaker, Tom Henderson.
Through his Twitter account, Tom Henderson advised gamers not to buy Battlefield 1 in the near future because it is rumored to be free next week. He also mentioned that the possibility for free is the PC version.
If you’re looking to buy Battlefield 1, don’t. It will be free to download next week.
I think it might just be for PC for those asking. Not 100% on that though.

Although this is just a rumor and has not been confirmed by EA, Tom Henderson is indeed known as a leaker who provides valid information, especially for the Battlefield series. This was proven after he previously leaked valid information about the Battlefield 1942 game before it was officially announced by EA.
As Tom Henderson mentioned, it’s very likely that Battlefield 1 will be available for free only to those playing on PC via Origin. However, it is possible that the console version is also free, although the possibility is small.
Not sure when Battlefield 1 will be free, Tom Henderson only mentioned the time next week. This could coincide with the EA Play Live Showcase event which will be held on July 22. Let’s just wait hopefully EA really make it free.
The Battlefield 1 game itself was first released in 2021. Despite its name Battlefield 1, this game is in fact the fifteenth in the franchise. Coming with the theme of World War I, Battlefield 1 received positive responses from various media and fans upon its release. This makes Battlefield 1 one of the best Battlefield series in the franchise.
